Vlad the Impaler Attacks!

   That's right. Russian President Vladimir V. Putin has just very boldly attacked the United States of America. His weapon of choice? An op-ed article he published in an American newspaper - The New York Times.

   This is one of the most important things I've ever tried to do and I want to share it with you. I want to share it with you because it's too much for one person alone. This is no joke. This is extremely serious business. 

   Most of my American friends are aware of the op-ed from Russian President (and Obama irritant) Vladimir Putin which appeared in the September 12 edition of the New York Times. Although I'm no fan of President Obama, he IS the President of my beloved country. If you're wondering why I'm referring to a simple op-ed in The Times as an attack, allow me to explain. The intention of that article was to show the American people and the world that America is no longer the world's leading nation. In Putin's mind, Russia has now supplanted America as the most influential and important country in the world. If he succeeds in persuading others around the world of this assertion, we will have lost World War III without as much as a whimper.

   So when the "Vlad the Impaler" - also known as Vladimir V. Putin, the Russian President - "impales" the American President with such a bold statement as the article the Times published for him, he's impaling the American people as well and that bothers me a great deal. That's why I wrote a rather scathing reply and addressed it to President Putin himself. But that's not enough. Not even close. No matter anyone's opinion of President Obama's capabilities, policies or even his motives, we, as Americans, must not allow this attack on President Obama and the United States of America to stand.

   I'm now in the process of fact-checking the opinion piece Putin allegedly wrote. I say "allegedly" because the translation was too perfect to come from a man who does not even speak English. It hardly needed an edit. I'll post the results of my fact checking VERY soon, right here in this blog. Current events have caused it to become a mission for me. That means many hours of research and plenty of coffee. 

   My mission has evolved. That mission now is to bring to you and others who actually want to protect and rebuild America into what America has always been and must remain: the most exceptional and strongest nation ever known to man.
